Y-Knot Farm Partnership
Y-Knot Farm is based in Wolfe and Rowan County, Kentucky. The farm raises herbs, veggies, microgreens, fruit and ducks. The Hop's ducks are in partnership with Y-Knot Farm. This is a new partnership and we look forward to sharing more information about the partnership and the goods that will be available in the near future. We currently have duck eggs and microgreens through the winter.

The Ducks
I never had any intention or thoughts of owning ducks. The ducks were a very spontaneous purchase made Ace Hardware. When I arrived home with 9 ducks my son said that I wasn't allowed to go to the hardware store by myself anymore. The ducks were transported between Hop's and home until they were two big to fit in my little car. Hop's made an ideal home for the ducks with Middle Fork of the Red and open fields for feeding and bathing. We currently have 5 Perkin (Daisy, Lefty, Newbie, Ducky & Paige) and 3 Khaki Cambell (Lola, LaFonda & Lajuanda) ducks.
Microgreens
Microgreen were added to the farm in 2025. We're currently growing sunflower (my favorite), bok choy, radish, and kale. We are offering the microgreens fresh or freeze-dried. Microgreens are nutrient rich and flavorful. They can be incorporated into sandwiches, smoothies, soups, salads, pesto, garnish, and much more. The freeze-dried microgreens provide even more concentrated nutrients and is great for dressings, and can be added to juices, smoothies, soups, and more.
